About Linda Cox
Award-Winning Educator. Grandmother. Storyteller. Heart Behind the Books.
Hi, I’m Linda Cox—a retired, award-winning educator and proud grandmother of twins. For more than 30 years, I dedicated my life to helping children learn, grow, and feel seen. That mission didn’t end with retirement. In fact, it found a beautiful new beginning—sparked by the laughter, curiosity, and bedtime struggles of my twin grandchildren.
They became my inspiration for writing and illustrating more than 100 children’s books, now available on Amazon. Each book is crafted with love, backed by decades of classroom experience, and infused with the kind of wisdom only a grandmother can give.
My stories are more than cute tales. They’re gentle guides for the real moments parents and caregivers face every day—naptime battles, sleepless nights, sibling squabbles, and the desire to teach kindness, empathy, and curiosity. I write with those challenges in mind, weaving in calming rhythms, real animal habitats, nature-based learning, and sweet messages that help little ones feel secure.
You’ll find books that:
Help twins and siblings feel special and seen
Turn bedtime into a peaceful bonding time
Teach counting, colors, and wildlife through beautiful watercolor illustrations
Gently model values like sharing, love, and empathy
Every story is built on the belief that reading together isn’t just educational—it’s transformative.
If you have ideas, feedback, or a story you’d love to see brought to life, I would truly love to hear from you. You can reach me anytime at lindacoxbooks@gmail.com.
Let’s keep creating magical moments—one story at a time.
Warmly,
Linda Cox

Sleep Book for Kids: Santa’s Arctic Animals
Snuggle in and journey to the snowy North, where Santa and his Arctic friends all drift off to sleep—one by one. With gentle rhymes and a soft Scandinavian charm, this soothing bedtime book celebrates the cozy calm of nighttime and the universal need for rest. Inspired by my Norwegian heritage, each page brings wintry wonder, peaceful rhythms, and the comforting reminder that even Santa needs his sleep.
